Hello, I'm Rebecca Miles, the founder of The Sherborne Practice. I'm an integrative therapist, meaning I use different approaches to suit your individual needs.
My goal is to provide a warm, accepting space where you can be yourself. I work with adults, young people, and children, helping them through various life challenges.
I've worked in several areas of mental health including national and local charities.
Alongside The Sherborne Practice, I sit on the board of trustees for Mind in Somerset, I feel this gives me a broader understanding of the mental health needs in the area.
I have worked in education, including work with special educational needs and neurodiversity. This mix of experiences helps me understand different perspectives and provide better support to my clients.
I'm passionate about mental health services for both adults and young people. I believe everyone should have access to the support they need.
Outside of work, I enjoy renovating my old farmhouse and amateur photography. These hobbies remind me of the importance of creativity and balance in life.
I'm committed to ongoing learning to ensure I can offer the best support to my clients. Whether you need short-term support or longer-term therapy, I'm here to help. Let's work together towards your wellbeing.

Ren has additional training in working with personality disorders, mental health first aid and a wealth of experience working within mental health services with a diverse and complex range of clients.
Her personal ‘style’ is creating a safe and trusting relationship with clients so experiences and feelings can be expressed without judgement. Her aim is to
help clients find a way of living life more comfortably with whatever they are bringing to a session. A key member of our team, Ren has worked for a number of years providing support for carers and their families, she is a therapist who truly cares, and her warmth and kind presence mean you can bring anything into the room with no judgement.
Outside work Ren loves being in nature, walking with her dogs and watching the seasons change. She enjoys singing, yoga and dipping in the sea all year. She has a keen interest in natural medicine and all things good for the soul.
